Gerry McGuire, the founder of Vancouver Citizen’s Voice, is the father of two grown daughters, a sometime photographer and proprietor of a small business in Vancouver, Canada. He ran for Mayor of Vancouver in 2011 and received the most votes of any independent candidate, finishing fourth out of twelve overall. A graduate of Simon Fraser University, with a BA in Economics, he also sat on the SFU Senate for two terms.
